Position Description:
The EBS Financial Application Specialist will perform in a senior application support role providing techno-functional support to the Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) 11i Financial Applications including GL, AP, AR, FA, PO, and PA as well as providing subject matter expertise for a future implementation project in R12. This is a supervisory position which requires people and project management skills, yet hands-on individual contributions to daily production and project support will be the primary function.
This is an excellent opportunity for a strong Oracle Functional Analyst with management experience to lead a team and create their own direction.
Primary Responsibilities:
· Provide ongoing production support for GL, AP, AR, CE, FA, PO, PA, ADI, FSG’s & iExpense modules in Oracle EBS 11i
· Provide global design, configuration, and implementation in Oracle EBS R12 for the modules mentioned above
· Work directly with other support personnel, end users, external consulting partner and other outside vendors as required
· Gather business requirements and develop and update documentation including business process flows, functional and technical design documents, and training materials
· Mentor other support personnel and end users and organize and conduct end user training
· Document test cases and scripts and perform functionality and patch testing, diagnose and debug problems, work with Oracle support to resolve issues
Required Skills and Experience:
· 6+ years of techno-functional experience in supporting and implementing Oracle EBS financial modules mentioned above in companies with global requirements including multiple lines of business and multi-currencies and multi-languages, 11.5.10 experience required, R12 experience a strong plus
· Strong knowledge of using SQL and Oracle EBS financial tables for data analysis
· Experience in Oracle Workflow functionality in use in PO and iExpense and other modules in a global environment
· Experience in a Project Accounting environment is a strong plus
· Familiarity with BI solutions, Hyperion, OBIEE, SSRS is a plus
· Increasing scope and experience managing people and projects, PMP is a plus
· Ability to work independently and in teams and manage multiple task assignments simultaneously
· Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills.
· Ability to effectively train and counsel others in a multicultural, multinational environment
· Ability to translate internal client needs into technical and functional specifications for business solutions
· Prefer EPCM or Oil & Gas industry experience
