Position Description:
 
The Technical BI Lead will perform a senior team lead role providing design, development, implementation and operations of all initiatives related to the Oracle E-Business Suite environment as well as Business Intelligence (BI), Data Warehouse, and Master Data Management.
 
This is a hands-on Management position which requires technical, people and project management skills. The Technical BI Lead will be involved in the strategy, design, and implementation of future BI solutions as well as support of the current production environment. Great opportunity for an experienced BI Leader to make a mark.
 
Primary Responsibilities of the Role:
 
·         Leadership and developmental support for team of technical ERP and BI professionals
·         High quality internal client service on current mixed production environment including Oracle E-Business Suite, SSRS, and Business Objects
·         Vision, design, communication, and execution of short and long range strategy for technical / BI solutions that support the business needs
·         Manage the integrity of data from source systems through data warehousing
·         Allocation and oversight of resources to meet requirements of production support and project work, goal setting, and performance evaluations
 
Required Skills and Experience:
 
·         4+ years of experience in implementing and managing full cycle BI / data warehouse solutions
·         4+ years leading teams of technical development professionals, preferably in an ERP environment
·         Advanced experience with SQL coding and use of ETL and data modeling tools
·         Strong knowledge of database technologies, data architecture, data marts, OLAP cubes and tools, integration tools such as Biztalk or BPEL, and reporting analytics
·         Prefer mixed experience of BI tools including, OBIEE, SSIS/SSRS, Business Objects, Cognos
·         Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (Hyperion) experience helpful
·         Experience managing people and projects, PMP preferred but not required
·         Ability to work independently and in teams and manage multiple task assignments simultaneously
·         Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills
·         Ability to translate internal client needs into technical and functional specifications for business solutions
·         EPCM or Oil & Gas industry experience a bonus
·         Oracle E-Business Suite experience preferred
